Freedom of The Company

What is a Freeman?

The majority of members will become Freemen by Redemption – an exclusive invitation by the Court to members who match the qualification criteria to be Free of the Company. Other less usual routes to Freedom are by Patrimony – which applies to the adult children of Freemen, and by Servitude – which applies to Apprentices.
